The American Uveitis Society 2024 Fall Meeting
will be held in conjunction with the
AAO Annual Meeting
in
Chicago
on
Sunday, October 20th, 2024
As has become tradition, there will be a social hour at 5:30 PM local time with the General Members Meeting following promptly at 6:30 PM.
The meeting will be held at the University of Illinois-Chicago (specifics on location to be announced).
AUS members whose dues are current may attend the meeting (in person or virtually) at no charge. The in-person guest fee is $50 (waived for non-AUS members who present free papers at this meeting.); the virtual guest fee is $25.
We are sad to announce that Dr. Russell Van Gelder has stepped down from presenting his Uveitis Literature Review, but are excited to announce the inaugural debut of a planned annual rotation of speakers reviewing ten "can't miss" papers from the clinical and basic science/translational literature.
This review will be followed by a traditional free paper session. The program committee invites abstracts presenting cases and research that will not be presented at the AAO meeting.
-- Abstracts and case competition submissions will be reviewed by the program committee.
-- Submission of an abstract does NOT guarantee acceptance for presentation. Due to time constraints presentations will be limited to the top ranked abstracts.
-- Only one abstract per first author will be accepted. The presenting author must be able to attend in person.
-- Material should not be presented at AAO, SPEIO, OMIG, or other meetings held in conjunction with AAO.
-- Abstract submission for research presentations will be electronic via the form below.
-- The submission site is now open and will close on September 9th, 2024 at Midnight Central Time.
-- Decisions will be made and the corresponding author notified via email by September 16th, 2024.
